The 2013 Congress was held at Bloxwich Leisure Centre.  The Arbiters were David Thomas and Matthew Carr with Andrew Davies acting as an Assistant (and a filler in Round 1 of the Minor).  Unfortunately Dave Thomas was indisposed on the Sunday and we were very grateful to David Welch the ECF’s Chief Arbiter covering for him at very short notice. 3 games were played on the first day and 2 on the second day.  There were 3 sections:  Premier which was Open; Major which was U160 and Minor which was U120.  The Advertiser Trophy was competed for in the closed Staffordshire Championship which formed part of the Open.
